The first part of this 5 week series focused particularly the question Why Am I Doing All These Things, and why we are willing to and choose to do things like attend graduate school. We looked into Luke 12 and the parable of the rich fool who decided to store things up for himself, when he himself did not know what could potentially happen in the future. Many times in our lives, we can become consumed by our culture’s addiction to winning, indifferent and numb to others’ problems. It is a warning into defining not just goals in our lives but also the true purpose of our lives as well, which can be muddled or undefined, as we seek to run in this race of a lifetime.
