This is the fifth week of the five-week series of bible studies about the prophets in the Old Testament. Prophets were people called by God in various situation to carry out His message to the Israelites at the important junctures in the history of the kingdom of Israel. Their mission was often very challenging and frustrating, which made the lives of these people full of stories from which we can learn about what it means to follow God. We will study the most important stories about various prophets, including their encounters with God, with their enemies and with their own temptations.

International Graduate Student Ministry (IGSM) is an official graduate student group at UC Berkeley. IGSM started in the fall of 2003 with the vision to help all UC Berkeley graduate students from various countries (including students from the United States) find out the true meaning and purpose of their lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of us also attend Gracepoint Berkeley, where Pastor Ed and Kelly Kang lead the ministry.
