And of course, the beach and waterfall at the destination was a great reward for the 4 mile hike. by the way, eating the vietnamese sandwich with the view of the pacific ocean in front of me was awesome. i really enjoyed the long hike because i got to talk to many new friends along the way. i got to talking about environmental issues, computer science, raising up a child, christianity, etc. i hope that i can continue the new friendships with the people i met on the trip. other than the hike that i did on the wilderness trail in the grand canyon of yosemite a while back, i would say that this is a very adventurous hike with a variety of good views along the way.
