After our Friday Forum message entitled, “Why Am I So Stressed?”, we headed out to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to enjoy the view… and relieve some stress. (also known as relax) It was a perfect day to head up to LBNL as the clouds and fog were nowhere to be found–we had a perfect view of Berkeley, San Francisco, and the Bay Bridge. And it was all perfectly lit up by a perfectly full moon! It was a gorgeous view, and so we took a lot of photos from the LBNL plaza overlooking the view.
And in the spirit of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival (or Moon Festival), we enjoyed moon cake, Chinese pastries, egg tart (DanTa), hot chocolate, and tea as we looked at the moon. Moon cake never tasted so good as when you are doing what Chinese people are supposed to do to celebrate the holiday, and we had a lot of fun deepening our friendships in the process. And if you missed out, be sure to check out the photos.
Indeed, it was a great time. Berkeley hill has a great view
toward SF. At times like this, I am thinking about my home country…
Wow those mooncakes sure were delicious and the view was beautiful. Nice video – definitely shows a key feature of IGSM – food.
