International Graduate Student Ministry – Gracepoint Berkeley

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the last stretch of the 2006-2007 academic year. For 1st year graduate students, it must have been a difficult year of transitioning and adjusting to the rough academic environment of UC Berkeley. But congratulations, you survived! For 2nd and 3rd years, congratulations on passing your prelims or quals! And I’m sure research has been getting easier.

During this week, ISM wanted to celebrate students who will be graduating from Berkeley. We are hosting a graduation celebration picnic in Tillman Park, which is located in Alameda. This will be happening Saturday, May 19th starting at 4pm. We’ll be playing sports such as soccer, volleyball, and ultimate Frisbee and enjoying Korean BBQ.

On the 19th, you’ll be done with your exams and final projects! The level of stress will drop several notches until August rolls around. So definitely, come enj! oy an awesome and fun time with ISM this coming Saturday afternoon.
