There will be no IGSM/VSM Sunday Service this Sunday at the YWCA. Instead please join us for Gracepoint’s Sunday Service at Willard Middle School (2425 Stuart Street) at 11am.
We will still have English Class at 9am at the YWCA.
IGSM will have Bible Study on Thursday (7/15) this week at the YWCA. The Bible Study will start at 7pm with dinner. See you then. There will be no Bible Study this Friday because of the staff/intern retreat this weekend.
We will have our Friday Bible Study week altogether at the YWCA starting with dinner at 6:30pm. We will hear about the Honduras Mission trip that our fellow graduate students, Howard and Wesley participated in together with other members of Gracepoint Berkeley. This will be followed by a bible study.
Afterwards, those with Gracepoint Multiply Your Talents courses will go to their respective trainings. The rest of us will have a time of dessert and game time at the YWCA.

Come join us at the YWCA on Sunday morning at 11am to explore topics that are “more than meets the eyes”. We will cover the topic that we are more than our bodies, we are more than our feelings and we are more than our egos. Afterwards, we will have a delicious lunch followed by a time of sports.

BBQ Picnic after at San Pablo Park (2800 Park St)
We will be starting our Three Part Series titled “More Than Meets the I” for the Sunday Large Group this Sunday (6/6). This week we will talk about the topic of “More Than Body”. Afterwards, we will have a delicious BBQ and sports time (don’t forget to bring a change of clothes). So come join us this week at the YWCA (2600 Bancroft Way) at 11am.
Because of the Memorial Day Yosemite Trip, we will not be having the IGSM Sunday Large Group this week. If you are still in the area and looking for a large group to join, please join Gracepoint Berkeley’s Sunday Worship Service at 11am at Willard Middle School on Telegraph.
Because of the Yosemite Trip, there will be no IGSM Friday Forum this week.
We will have our IGSM Sunday Service at a new time. The new IGSM Sunday Service will start at 11:00am at the YWCA. Come join us for a time of study the Bible, have a delicious lunch and have some time of fellowship afterwards.
On Memorial Day weekend, IGSM will be going to Yosemite to view the beautiful outdoors. We will be leaving Friday evening (5/28) and returning back Monday (5/31) and staying at nice houses near Yosemite for three nights (note the extended dates). During those three days, we will go hiking and just enjoy each others company with lots of good food and laughs. The cost of the trip will be $100 (increase in price because staying one night longer then initially posted), which includes food, housing and transportation.
We will be having IGSM Sunday Service up there, so there will be no IGSM Sunday Service at the Y on 5/30.

International Graduate Student Ministry (IGSM) is an official graduate student group at UC Berkeley. IGSM started in the fall of 2003 with the vision to help all UC Berkeley graduate students from various countries (including students from the United States) find out the true meaning and purpose of their lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of us also attend Gracepoint Berkeley, where Pastor Ed and Kelly Kang lead the ministry.
