winter retreat mainpic e1321929900425 IGSM Winter Retreat Sign upCome join us for one of IGSM’s biggest events of the year in the 2012 IGSM Winter Retreat, with Pastor Jonathan Lee as our main speaker! This is a time when we have a chance to take a break from all the day-to-day activities, and to experience and deepen our personal relationships with God. Whether you’ve been a Christian for many years, or are simply trying to find out more about Christianity, this event should hopefully address your concerns and questions in a deep, personal, and meaningful way. This is also a chance for you to enjoy fellowship with other international students, and enjoy delicious food! The cost for attending the retreat is to be determined. Come join us for Gracepoint’s annual Thanksgiving retreat! This will be a time of experiencing what God has done in all ministries of our church this past year, through video and testimonial sharings from various people. Come and experience the fun, excitement, and fellowship as members from our church plants across the country and in Taiwan gather together to give thanks to God for this past year.

When: Friday (11/11) 7-10pm, Saturday (11/12) 10am-10pm, and Sunday (11/13) 10am-1pm
Where: Kofman Auditorium in Alameda
Cost: $20 for students, $30 for working people

Thanksgiving Sierra Lodge Trip

Come join us as we take a fun and adventurous trip into the mountains for three days to Sierra Lodge! The trip promises to provide exciting fellowship amongst international and graduate students, and excellent food.

Date: November 23-25, 2011
Location: Sierra Lodge
Who: Anyone who is free during Thanksgiving
What: A fun and exciting time of sports, fellowship, and food!
Cost: 50 USD

Thanksgiving Celebration

What: Sunday Worship Service followed by Thanksgiving Celebration

Yosemite Trip

Need a break from research? Haven’t been to Yosemite yet? Need to get out more? Come join us for a trip to the great outdoors!

We’ll be heading to Yosemite to go hiking, play games, eat delicious food, and have a lot of fun together! We will all be leaving on Friday 9/30 at 8:30 pm from Barrows Hall immediately after our Friday Forum Bible study, and returning on Sunday 10/2 at 3 pm to Barrows Hall.

The cost for the trip will be $60. Please sign up below if you want to come. The sign-up deadline is Sunday 9/25 at midnight. (Sorry, signups are closed! Hope you can join us next time!)

Join us for a time of picnic and sports at Tilden Park! This is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other international undergraduate and graduate students, and experience great food. Be sure to bring your appetite and athletic skills!
