Gracepoint Live 2011

It’s that time again!!  Our Gracepoint college groups (Koinonia, Acts2Fellowship/Kairos) are putting on the biennial (meaning every two years) Gracepoint Live.  For those of you who don’t know, GLive is an amateur production done by our college students who sing, dance, and act in skits that will make you think, laugh, and perhaps even cry.  Entitled “Free”, GLive will explore ideas about true freedom and present Christianity in a way that is relevant to our lives today through 4 separate dramas.  You won’t want to miss it–in fact, you might be surprised that the actors are Berkeley college students and not paid professionals!  It’s happening SATURDAY, APRIL 16th, so mark your calendars!  Check out the trailer.

IGSM will be having our regular Friday Bible study next Friday starting with dinner at 6:30 PM.  We will be continuing the series called “Finding Faith through Films”.  Due to spring break, we will be unable to meet on campus, so instead, we will have bible study in Alameda.  There will be rides from Barrows Hall at 6 PM. IGSM will be having our regular Friday Bible study next Friday starting with dinner at 6:30 PM in Barrows Hall.  We will be starting a new series called “Finding Faith through Films”.  After bible study, we will have our IGSM Dessert Festival, so be sure to bring your best homemade desserts to share with everyone!  Prizes will be awarded for the best dessert!!!
