The focus of this three-week class is to improve your conversational English skills by learning common American idioms and expressions. Students will be introduced to a selection of widely used idioms, acronyms, and phrases; learn their meanings; and explore appropriate contexts to use them in. In addition, you will have the opportunity to do role-play activities so you can practice using the idioms you learned in interesting, true-to-life situations.
* Please note that a nominal fee of $15 will be collected to cover the printing costs for the course material and weekly refreshments. If you have any questions about this course, please contact Carolyn Yu at carolyn.yu@igsmonline.org.
